The astrology forecast for the week of March 14, 2022 through March 20, 2022 features two major aspects (Mercury sextile Uranus, Venus square Uranus), the change of the seasons as the Sun moves into Aries, and a Full Moon in Virgo.

So, once again, the cosmos picks up steam.  Let’s dive right in.

Cosmic Overview

The aspect of the week occurs on Saturday as Venus in Aquarius squares Uranus in Taurus. I’m going to be blunt (okay, I’m known for that): if you are inflexible in your relationships, must have your own way, or do not like to compromise, then Venus square Uranus is difficult – very difficult. However, if you are flexible and can compromise with your partners (all of them), Venus square Uranus can enhance your relationships significantly.

The planet Uranus likes progress, not stagnation. When Uranus is in a hard aspect to Venus, and your relationships are stuck in a rut and not growing, he tends to shake things up.

Now, the key to working with Venus square Uranus is to shake things up on your own. Venus-Uranus likes excitement, so doing different activities, exploring new things, and adding new elements to keep your relationships fresh will help mitigate many of the more troublesome manifestations of the aspect.

In addition to love, Venus rules money. You may want to keep a watch on your expenditures, because unexpected expenses may occur. Furthermore, this is not the best time to make impulsive investments.

We start the week with the Moon moving through fiery Leo and it creates a tense configuration to Venus and Uranus. You may experience some minor tension in relationships that may leave you feeling anxious or ill at ease. Insecurities and self-doubt may surface, but be proactive when this occurs. Also, note what is worrying you because it may be a major indicator of what needs to be worked on when Venus squares Uranus later in the week.

The Moon will spend most of the day void of course in Leo. Avoid signing documents, making firm agreements, or starting anything new. Void of course moons lack sufficient energy to keep momentum flowing, so usually nothing comes of the matter. The Moon moves into Virgo early Wednesday morning.

Wednesday, March 16, 2022

The Moon moves into dutiful Virgo. Although it may not be the most exciting day of the week, it is excellent to get out your to do list and get things done. The Virgo Moon is also great for focusing on health-related matters, starting a business plan, and hitting the gym. Getting energy moving through your body is a good thing – not necessarily fun, but good.

The Full Moon occurs today in the sign of Virgo. You can use this cycle to break bad habits, remove negative or obsessive thought patterns, prepare to leave a toxic work situation, or to clean up your side of the street to successfully prepare for something new. Since this Full Moon is in opposition to Neptune, you can also use this Full Moon to conquer addictions.

In addition to Venus squaring Uranus, the Moon moves through relationship-oriented Libra. It’s an excellent day to focus on your relationships and what you can do to make them better. On Saturday evening, the Moon trines Saturn, and it’s the perfect time to tie up loose ends, and get things off your to do list.

We close the week with the Sun moving out of Pisces and into Aries. Aries is the beginning of the astrological New Year. It’s an auspicious day to focus on what you would like to achieve over the next year and develop strategies to get results. Anything is possible, you just need the gumption to do it.

The astrology forecast for the week of March 7, 2022 through March 13, 2022 features a minimal amount of cosmic energy. We have Mercury moving out of Aquarius and into Pisces, and the Sun completes his annual conjunction to Neptune.

Since there is not a lot of activity this week, I decided to offer suggestions to work with the weekly forecast, since I often get questions about personalizing the forecast frequently.

The first thing you need is a copy of your personal horoscope. You can get a copy by visiting astro.com.  If you are new to astrology, I would recommend working with whole sign houses, because this system is easier.  The purpose of getting a copy of your horoscope is to find out your ascendant (rising sign), which will reveal how your houses lay out in the chart.

Next, you can download a copy of the “Astrology Cheat Sheet” designed by my late friend Barbara Schermer. It’s an excellent quick resource for you to have on hand, or you can purchase “Astrology for Yourself” by Demetra George, which is available in workbook and kindle formats.

Finally, you can now plot the areas of your chart where astrological activity is taking place. For example, this week Mercury moves into the sign of Pisces. If you have Libra rising (and working with whole sign houses), then Mercury will move into your 6th house of health, work, rituals, and day to day activities.  This means Mercury will provide understanding and conversations about these areas of your life. However, if you have Taurus rising, Mercury will move through your 11th house of friends, groups, and hopes and wishes. While Mercury is in Pisces, you will likely feel more social, and you will perhaps look at your big picture plans and objectives.

Push away negative thoughts when they enter your headspace.

The morning hours could prove contentious as the Moon squares Mercury.  Try to avoid people who may push your buttons. Later on Tuesday, the Moon leaves Taurus and enters social Gemini and trines Venus and Mars. This evening is perfect for socializing, connecting with your inner circle, or a date night.

After three weeks in Aquarius, Mercury moves out of the sign of the water bearer and into Pisces. Mercury in Pisces understands life through its receptivity to the feelings of others and the current temperature of the collective, which currently is rather volatile. Your intuition will be off the chains, and you may have trouble distinguishing between your personal emotional responses and the moods of others.  Try to remain as grounded as possible, and if you are emotionally overwhelmed, practice self-care. Additionally, this is an auspicious time to work on creative projects, because your receptivity to ‘other’ worlds will be at its peak.  Mercury remains in Pisces until March 27th.

You may find yourself battling a heavy dose of brain fog as the Moon in Gemini squares Neptune. It’s best to work on activities that do not require intensive focus. After squaring Neptune, the Moon will go void of course for the rest of the day. Avoid starting anything new or making firm agreements until the Moon enters Cancer tomorrow.

The Moon enters emotional Cancer and forms a lovely trine to Mercury. It’s an excellent day to discuss sensitive subjects that require empathy and compassion, especially with family members. The beginning of the weekend starts with the Moon making lovely aspects to Jupiter and the Sun, bringing together the beneficial energies from last weekend front and center again. It’s an excellent day to spend time with loved ones and simply enjoy your life. Also, if you want to head to the store to buy some home decor items to brighten up your space, it’s a great day to do so.

We close the week with the annual conjunction of the Sun and Neptune in the sign of Pisces. You will find sympathy and compassion for those in your life currently in need. Cosmic Overview

This week features the most positive day of the year, as the Sun and Jupiter conjoin in Pisces. Sun conjoins Jupiter in Pisces is incredibly positive because Jupiter is in his sign, and his benefic energy is amplified. So, make sure you take advantage of this energy while it’s available.

One of the most beneficial features of the Sun conjunct Jupiter is it’s an optimistic and joyful aspect. Your spirits will be lifted, and this should have a positive impact on your outlook on life, and people will enjoy being around you. New experiences are important at this time because Jupiter will want to expand your worldview, and you will have the urge to make your life bigger, bolder, and brighter. As I said earlier, the Sun conjoined to Jupiter is considered lucky. It’s easy to quickly (especially the fire signs) see opportunities and take advantage of them. So, pay close attention to anything presented to you while this aspect is active.

The only drawback to Sun conjunct Jupiter is its propensity towards burnout. It’s very easy to get excited by everything in your life, and as a result, you may take on more than you can handle. So, try not to overdo it.

In addition, since Saturn (the ruler of Aquarius) is highly dignified, he will help make relationships more stable.

The astrology forecast for the week of February 21, 2022 through February 27, 2022 features three major aspects, all grouped in the middle of the week – Mars sextile Neptune, Venus sextile Neptune, and Mercury square Uranus.

Cosmic Overview

The cosmic event of the week is Mercury in Aquarius (now out of shadow) square Uranus in Taurus. If there is a week in which cabin fever will kick into high gear, this is the one!

Mercury square Uranus gets bored with the same old monotonous day-to-day activities, and will seek out new things, often impulsively, to add some excitement to everyday life. Now, this is fine and dandy and usually goes smoothly with a sextile or trine, but since this is a square, the erratic nature of the aspect can be problematic. For many (yes mutable signs, I’m talking to you), there will be an urge to throw duties and responsibilities out the window in favor of excitement and exploring new things. However, this can come with consequences, so try to think things out before throwing caution to the wind.

Another feature of Mercury square Uranus is that your thoughts will be fast and furious. You will be inspired by new ideas and interests, and will want to explore them. Intuitive hunches or insights may be amplified while this aspect is active. But, if you have difficulties controlling the onslaught of mental activity, you could end up feeling anxious or nervous. As best as possible, try to focus on one thing and leave the others for another day. Obviously, it’s best not to focus on projects that need focus and concentration.

So, this week we begin a new solar astrological cycle as the Sun moves out of watery Pisces and into fiery Aries.  Let the season of spring begin!

The sign of Aries is perhaps the most individual of all the astrological signs because it represents that burst of energy that creates life.  Practically speaking, Aries season reflects a cycle of leaving the past behind and creating a new beginning by taking charge of our lives.

Aries is probably the most competitive of the astrological signs.  It likes to win, and we can use this energy to create objectives and goals that we can achieve.  You only need to infuse it with a dash of ambition, a peppering of confidence, and a scoopful of determination.

While we are in Aries season, it’s a beneficial time to focus on what you would like to accomplish and what reforms you would like over the next year.  This week we are provided with two planetary assists – Mars in Taurus trine Pluto in Capricorn.  Both configurations occur before the Sun moves into Aries on Wednesday and gives us a cosmic boost to see what is wrong, what we are unhappy with, and what needs to be reformed.  It’s best to take advantage of this while you can.

In other astrological news, we have a Full Moon in Libra.  Libra is the sign of relationships and when the Full Moon falls in the sign of the scales, it’s time to get rid of the relationships in our lives that are no longer working.  As Marie Kondo says, if it doesn’t bring you joy or make you happy, get rid of it.  You can use this same philosophy in relationships.

Cosmic Weather Forecast – February 25, 2019 – March 3, 2019

So, there is not much to talk about this week because the cosmic energy is minimal – we have only two aspects and a single sign change.  Take advantage of this energy while you can because we do not get another astrological break until the end of the month and Mercury goes retrograde next week and will stir up trouble.

Venus is the major playing this week and love and money are going to take center stage, especially when Venus moves out of structured Capricorn and into Aquarius.  While Venus is in the sign of the water bearer, relationship needs are met through friendship and intellectual stimulation, and in most cases, expresses itself in a detached and often ambivalent way.  Venus in Aquarius is ethical and loyal with a strong distaste for intense emotions and will shut down if it feels like it is being emotionally manipulated.

On the personal level, Venus in Aquarius reflects a cyclical period where we need to look at our relationships using reason and logic rather than through emotional connection and earthy necessities. If your relationship is not working, then it’s time to look at the reasons why problems are occurring, which requires honesty yet will give you the strategy to improve your relationships.

Financially, Venus in Aquarius is effective to develop financial strategies for the future.  Again, using a detached and emotional perspective, this placement provides you with a cool and logical approach that will help you see problems in your current financial situation and will provide you with the tools to deal with them.  Since Saturn, the natural ruler of Aquarius is moving through goal-oriented Capricorn, your chance of success and resolving your financial issues once and for all.
