The astrology forecast for the week of March 21, 2022 through March 27, 2022 features four major aspects (Mercury conjunct Jupiter, Mars square Uranus, Mercury conjunct Neptune, and Mercury sextile Pluto) and Mercury moves out of Pisces and into fiery Aries.

Now, that’s a heck of a lot of Mercury energy this week. Let’s dive right in.

Cosmic Overview

Although Mercury is a big player, the most potent aspect of the week is Mars in Aquarius square Uranus in Taurus. Mars square Uranus is an extremely volatile aspect, and it’s hard (even in the most conscious of people) to contain.  You may feel a need to break free from situations in your life where you feel controlled and restrained. Acting impulsively and reacting to external circumstances may need to be tempered so that you do not do any lasting damage to your life. It’s necessary to be as proactive as possible, and try to manage your emotions the best you can.

If you can control your impulses, Mars square Uranus can be useful. This aspect often reveals the areas of life where you feel discouraged and dissatisfied.  Understanding the root of your restlessness can help you make positive and meaningful changes in your life. The key is working with this energy productively, and not letting it work you.

Finally, Mars square Uranus is accident prone.  Try to be aware of what you are doing, especially when you are driving and handling equipment. A hard hat may be necessary!

We start the week with a lovely conjunction of Mercury and Jupiter in Pisces. Since this aspect lands in the sign of the fishes, you may notice your creative energies are surging more than usual, which is a good thing, especially if you are in a line of work that occasionally needs a dose of “something extra”.

Mercury conjunct Jupiter is an extremely useful aspect. Your mood should be optimistic, and your outlook on life is mostly positive. You can see the big picture, and you can make the most of it. Mercury-Jupiter aspects are great for business activities and goal setting. So, make sure you take advantage of the energy while it’s available.

Mercury conjoins Neptune in Pisces, and your imagination, creative juices, and intuition will be amplified. It’s an excellent day to work on creative projects or participate in spiritual activities. The only drawback is that it may be difficult to articulate your thoughts and ideas to others. Conversely, it may be difficult to understand others, and miscommunication may occur. Make sure you verify facts before making a major decision.

The Moon spends most of the day void of course in Sagittarius. It’s best not to start any new projects or make firm agreements until the Moon moves into Capricorn later today (5:54 PM EST/2:54 PM PST). The void of course Moon lacks momentum, and usually nothing comes of matters initiated at this time.

The Moon moves through productive Capricorn. It’s an excellent day to focus on work and career related matters. Later in the day, the Moon forms a lovely trine to Uranus. It’s an excellent night to do something spontaneous and outside the box.

Mercury forms a beneficial sextile to Pluto in Capricorn. Mercury sextile Pluto is useful to solve problems that may require intense focus and probing beneath the surface. You may receive insight into yourself or others that creates lasting change in your life. Mercury-Pluto aspects are also excellent for projects that require research and detective skills, because it will help you dig beneath the surface and discover the truth.

We close the week with Mercury moving out of Pisces and into fiery Aries. Mercury in a fire sign is concerned with potentials and possibilities, and you may receive insights that you can use to your personal advantage. While Mercury is in the sign of the ram, your mental energies are increased if you are passionate about your ideas and inspired to use them. Mercury remains in Aries until April 10th.

The astrology forecast for the week of March 7, 2022 through March 13, 2022 features a minimal amount of cosmic energy. We have Mercury moving out of Aquarius and into Pisces, and the Sun completes his annual conjunction to Neptune.

Since there is not a lot of activity this week, I decided to offer suggestions to work with the weekly forecast, since I often get questions about personalizing the forecast frequently.

The first thing you need is a copy of your personal horoscope. You can get a copy by visiting astro.com.  If you are new to astrology, I would recommend working with whole sign houses, because this system is easier.  The purpose of getting a copy of your horoscope is to find out your ascendant (rising sign), which will reveal how your houses lay out in the chart.

Next, you can download a copy of the “Astrology Cheat Sheet” designed by my late friend Barbara Schermer. It’s an excellent quick resource for you to have on hand, or you can purchase “Astrology for Yourself” by Demetra George, which is available in workbook and kindle formats.

Finally, you can now plot the areas of your chart where astrological activity is taking place. For example, this week Mercury moves into the sign of Pisces. If you have Libra rising (and working with whole sign houses), then Mercury will move into your 6th house of health, work, rituals, and day to day activities.  This means Mercury will provide understanding and conversations about these areas of your life. However, if you have Taurus rising, Mercury will move through your 11th house of friends, groups, and hopes and wishes. While Mercury is in Pisces, you will likely feel more social, and you will perhaps look at your big picture plans and objectives.

After three weeks in Aquarius, Mercury moves out of the sign of the water bearer and into Pisces. Mercury in Pisces understands life through its receptivity to the feelings of others and the current temperature of the collective, which currently is rather volatile. Your intuition will be off the chains, and you may have trouble distinguishing between your personal emotional responses and the moods of others.  Try to remain as grounded as possible, and if you are emotionally overwhelmed, practice self-care. Additionally, this is an auspicious time to work on creative projects, because your receptivity to ‘other’ worlds will be at its peak.  Mercury remains in Pisces until March 27th.

Cosmic Weather Forecast – March 25, 2019 – March 31, 2019

It’s going to be a slow week in the cosmos, which may be a welcomed relief for some.  We have two sign changes, one planetary aspect, and a planetary directional change.

So, the big newsmaker is Mercury turning direct in Pisces on March 28th, and based upon my social media feeds, and for many, it couldn’t happen any sooner.  It’s been a rough retrograde, but let me tell you a secret, I hear that every Mercury retrograde.

Mercury turning direct means that communication difficulties will improve but will take until April 17th to be completely resolved.  However, the matters that Mercury retrograde befuddles – travel plans, electronic devices, making important decisions, purchases, and moving forward with plans can proceed.

On a more personal level, you need to review the last three weeks and see if any themes kept repeating, so you can make changes where they are necessary.  Journaling work and talking through issues with a trusted friend or confidant can be helpful when working through issues Mercury retrograde dredged to the surface.

Cosmic Weather Forecast – February 4, 2019 – February 10, 2019

So, this week we have nothing but positive aspects.  Whew!  We can all breath a sigh of relief because this type of energy doesn’t happen often.  However, there is a catch – we need to make sure we take full advantage of it by ‘taking action’ and not letting this potent period pass us by.

The headliner of the week is the New Moon in Aquarius.  Aquarius is the sign of the group, collective thoughts, and higher-minded ideals.  When you combine Aquarian energy with the New Moon it’s a great time to explore expanding your sphere of influence.  You can do this by seeking out new friendships, getting involved in groups with like-minded individuals, participating in meetup groups, or even joining the local country club.  The key from this potent lunation is the need for support from those around you that are not bound by familial ties and obligations but from social connection and likeability.

New Moon cycles are great for magical and intention work.  You can use this New Moon to attract new friends, standing up for your beliefs, or even succeeding with activism activities.  The New Moon in Aquarius is about bringing people together by engaging in our similarities and our collective goals rather than our differences.

The Moon moves into Aries during the morning hours on Friday giving you an extra boost of energy – kind of like a cosmic Redbull.  The good news is that you can use this power fuel to get things accomplished, but the bad news is that you may be highly reactive to people around you.

Friday evening is not a night to go out on the town because the Moon forms a complicated square to Venus.  Conflicts with others are highly possible, so if you can avoid personal interactions, then do so.

The Weekend:

Although Friday evening will be tense, Saturday will be easier.  Mercury forms a nice aspect to Uranus and it’s a great day to spend with your social circle or other like-minded individuals.  If you’ve been feeling a bit of cabin fever over the winter months, this would be a great day to get out.

On Sunday, Mercury leaves Aquarius and dives into the deep waters of Pisces.  Mercury remains in Pisces until mid-April which gives us an extended period of intuitive insight.  Mercury in Pisces is great for creative or artistic based projects.  However, be prepared, Mercury goes retrograde in Pisces in early March and direct communications with others will become more complicated.
