Cosmic Weather Forecast – February 18, 2019 – February 24, 2019

So, this week we have so much astrological energy that it may give you whiplash because almost every area of your life will be affected, but the good news is that the cosmic weather is all positive.

Can I get an amen, especially after that intense Mars – Uranus conjunction last week?

We have a couple of headliners this week – The Sun moves into Pisces and we have a Full Moon in Virgo.

On Monday, we leave the airy socially conscious sign of Aquarius and dive deeply into the watery world of emotional Pisces.  In Kabbalah, Pisces is considered the sign of joy because of the amount of light you will receive from the universe and you will find that you are more compassionate, understanding, and willing to help those around you.  However, be on guard and try to keep your personal boundaries in place because Pisces energy is so receptive to others that it is easy for people to take advantage of you.  Also, Pisces season heightens your intuition and creative abilities, and everyone can use more of that.

The Full Moon occurs in Virgo on Tuesday.  Now, this is an interesting Full Moon because it happens at the earliest degree of Virgo and reflects that old things must come to an end and that you need to embrace the new.  Holding on to ‘dead works will lead to apathy and depression, so do yourself a favor and just let it go regardless of how difficult it may be.

On the magical level, we can use this Full Moon to eliminate unhealthy patterns, dysfunctional behaviors, and self-destructive habits.  Additionally, since Virgo does have influence over our jobs, if you want to leave your current job and find something new, you have a six-month window to work through and then in late summer begin to magically petition for the job you ultimately want.

Before we move into Pisces season Monday evening, we first have a lovely aspect between the Sun and Uranus.  Besides making your life a little more exciting, if even for a day, this aspect makes it easy to change your immediate environment and gives you the gumption to do so.  Moreover, the Sun sextile Uranus brings out the reformer in you and you can use this energy to reform the areas of your life that need it.

A creative way to work with this energy is to do something different, explore new things, and do activities that stimulate your imagination.  This will keep you feeling fresh and engaged with life.

There are a couple of Mercury aspects throughout the day to Neptune and Saturn. First, Mercury conjoins Neptune during the early morning hours and your intuition and creative abilities will be heightened.  You will notice that you are extremely sensitive and in tune with the people around you. However, because of the nature of Neptune, you may find communication with others difficult.  Make sure that you try to be as clear as possible. Next, Mercury will sextile Saturn, which should center you a bit and help you focus on the immediate tasks you need to complete, as you will be more concerned with details and can possibly earth the creative impulses you received earlier in the day.

The Moon continues to move through Virgo, and you will emotionally feel like you are on a rollercoaster because it makes a few positive aspects and several difficult ones, as well.  Try to remain as centered as you can and avoid reacting emotionally to the actions of others.  In many cases, their intentions may not be as insidious as you believe.

The Moon moves into fair and balanced Libra during the morning hours, which should clear out the fog from Wednesday.  You can use this energy to resolve any confusion that may have occurred with others.  Since Libra is the sign that governs relationships, it’s a great evening to spend with your significant other or with close friends if you are single.

Friday is a rather potent astrological day that features two aspects – Mercury square Jupiter and Venus conjunct Pluto.

Your day will begin rather positively with Mercury in aspect to Jupiter, which always gives you an optimistic attitude.  It’s a great day to make big plans and set goals.  However, make sure you focus on the details as best as you can because Mercury – Jupiter aspects tend to ignore the most important ones and that can lead to trouble down the road.

Friday evening may be rather intense, and you may want to stay at home as Venus conjoins Pluto.  This aspect often brings out the more complicated aspect of relationships including jealousy, possessiveness, and manipulative behavior, which is usually spawned by relationship insecurities.  You may need a good dose of acceptance and try to avoid escaping the real world by becoming overly dependent on your relationships.  Over the next few days, avoid getting into new relationships because they will usually end badly when they begin under a Venus-Pluto conjunction.

The Weekend

On Saturday, Mercury will form a sextile to Pluto.  This aspect is great for solving problems, doing detective work or getting to the truth, if you are willing to dig a bit to get to it.  If you need to get to the truth about an issue in your life, now would be a good time to do so.  Any insight will help you improve your life and help you get to the next level.
